American Central Force Protection’s Special Events division is seeking Event Security Officers with excellent guest and customer relationship skills to help create and maintain an environment that is welcoming to the guests and safe during their visit and participation. We are security professionals with hospitality focused training and positive attitudes. Our staff duties include but are not limited to; compliance with specific post instructions, credential badge checking, roving foot patrols to monitoring specific areas of the leased space and other duties that may be required by Show Management or American Central as needed. We watch over life & property, perform general crowd & access control duties. We monitor entrances/exits, freight loading docks & doors and rove assigned areas within our worksite locations. Post orders may also include Ticket Taking, Ushering, Guest Services, Special Services, Screening, Bag Checking and Asset Protection. Successful candidates must meet these standards for consideration: • Have a current Florida Class D Security License or Valid Temp Card (Blue) • Be 18 years or older • Have completed a High School Diploma or GED • Excellent communication skills, (clear and effective oral & written skills • Professional presentation, appearance reflecting customer service skills with good personal hygiene and cleanliness of your uniform. • Authorization to work in the US if applicable. • Pass a criminal background check/random drug test • Adhere to assigned schedules and be punctual. • Be able to climb stairs, stand and or walk for long periods of time • Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations • Have the skills in operating radios for communications. • Observes, logs and reports unusual, dangerous or illegal activities, incidents or unauthorized individuals at an assigned site. • Act to enforce client & facility regulations and directives for the site pertaining to exhibitors, guests, organizers personnel, visitors, and premises. • As assigned, may Rove on foot patrols for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
