Looking to rehome our wheaten terrier. We rescued him as a young puppy. We are familiar with the breed and think he is full wheaten by his physical traits and temperament, but we have no papers so can't be 100% sure. There are no signs of any other type of dog in him. Tail is not docked and he is fixed. He's an inside dog and uses a pet door. Always goes doo doo in the same spot on the side yard. (Awesome!) Sleeps in his crate at night. Needs a yard. He loves to play like a puppy, can't get enough of it. < This is one of the things people love about wheatens!> Pulls hard on a regular leash, we solve that by using a head leader. Good with cats and dogs, but is hit and miss with dog parks. Gets anxious and barks a lot when visitors come. He comes around to most people after he meets them but some visitors he doesn't ever accept; so he should be watched around strangers of any age, big or small. People who love wheatens will love him, he is very typical and is a great dog when you work with him. Rehoming fee is $200 non-negotiable (cash only).
