found/saw a brown fluffy dog

On 10/29/2021- around 11:00 PM. I saw a fluffy mid-large dog was running in the middle of traffic. I stopped the traffic and tried to get her however she or he was scared and it did run from H Mart to CVS direction. I went after her until she was out of the road and runned to the behind of the guitar center, KBR kitchen and bath etc. Stores. The red marked map shows where I saw her first and the green marked map shows where she was seen last. I called to fairfax police department and 2 police cars came to search for it. I hope the owner will find it safe and soon. It seems like chow or newfoundland breed with brown long hairs. My contact is for further info. Good like. 🙏
