The Mechanic will inspect, perform preventative and necessary maintenance on all truck and trailers.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipment using fleet maintenance and management software.
Keeps tools, equipment and work areas clean, organized and in good working condition.
Maintains inventory of supplies needed and used.
Proficiency in Cummins Insite and Cummins Quickserve.
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment. Maintains on-board spill kits and safety equipment.
Diagnosis problems, repairs, replaces, and reassembles parts including brakes, cooling systems, drive trains, electrical, exhaust and emissions, heating and air conditioning, hydraulic, air, steering and suspension and coupling devices.
Ability to weld steel and aluminum.
Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards.
