Supp craigslist killas! 😎 Newly formed Dream-pop/Shoegaze band seeking an experience vocalist that plays rhythm guitar. My name is Ryan(Bassist) and my friend Shane(Lead Guitarist/Keyboardist/Producer) and we have been talking about starting a band and have recently decided to pull the trigger on it! Our goal is write music, then produce that music at our home studio in Marietta and gather connects so we can start playing shows in and around Atlanta and potentially go further. Bands we're into: Holy Wave, Mild High Club, CASTLEBEAT, Beach Fossils, King Gizz, Sunbeam Sound Machine, Vacations, Tame Impala, Homeshake, Mac DeMarco, Mr. Elevator, Hibou, Ringo Deatharr, Slowdive, Pond, STRFCKR, DIIV, Washed Out, Acid Dad, Allah-las, MGMT, Wild Nothing, Deserta, Slowdive, etc. We're looking for a singer that sings very comparable to these artists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Mhub5C88IE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8NhKaGKpeA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZmQfE9LvQM That soft, dreamy nasal tone similar to Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco or more notable acts like Paul McCartney. And we do wanna stress this again- we ARE looking for a singer that specifically does this kinda sound 👈😎 Both Shane and I have a good 10-12 demos already made which are all fully structured out songs from start to finish which are going to help us get the ball rolling quick. We've both established it'll actually be most resourceful to simply begin work on music that is already arranged and composed. When you start a business, you want to have tools, experienced personnel, and proven methods that work and if you have that all on day one, chances are your business may flourish. That being said, if you're not the type of person that is willing to conform to other peoples' ideas, designs, thoughts, dreams, visions then this project is decidedly not for you. I also want to assure you that we've got some promising reviews in regards to our demos from friends, coworkers, family, online, random strangers at bars, etc. I can reassure you that these demos are great compositions. To put painly, they're fun! Super energetic, each of them have life and none are boring. I will send you the demos right away for you to listen to as soon as you respond to my email! We play in Marietta. I'm 29 and Shane is 30 and we're looking to play with members in our age range. We rehearse on Sunday nights and on Tuesday nights! Also you must be close(within 30min) of Marietta. We are talking to a couple potential drummers right now. However, not only are we looking for members, we're looking for friends to add to our group!
