I have a 1 year old female catahoula. Great with older children and most dogs due to her hyperness. She is not fixed but has all her shots and rabies. Please research this breed before u inquire. Without lots of exercise and attention she will destroy your house. She does do well in a kennel, I just don't use one. I'd prefer if you have some land for her to run but a large backyard will do. She is an indoor only dog. If you plan on throwing her outside look elsewhere. Her tummy doesn't do well with grain so she is on a grain free diet. She is shy at first but usually warms up quickly.
