Description
No previous knowledge of the car business is required for this job. Owner of used car business needs someone to drop off and pick up cars that are being repaired, smogged, detailed, etc. In addition, occasional trips to auto parts store, Wal-Mart, bank, etc. You may also be required to do some light detail work to prep a car for sale (all the major detail work is done by professional detailers, this is simply taking the car to get washed and wiping it down prior to showing the vehicle). No heavy lifting is required. Any applicant must have a valid, current California driver's license. Applicant will also need reliable transportation to get to work. Once you are at work you will drive a company vehicle. There is room for advancement and additional money if applicant wants to get their vehicle salesperson's license (very easy, no test required, no money required). If applicant does not want to get a sales permit that is perfectly fine as well. The most important thing about this job is showing up and showing up on time. If you can do that, the rest of the job is pretty simple.
2 week trial period/24 hours per week at $15 per hour. If all goes well, 40 hours per week after at $16 per hour to start. Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 p.m.
Must be minimum of 18 years old
