We are Ignite Outdoor Kitchens. We are a rapidly growing startup company that was Founded in 2019. We are located in South Austin near South Congress. We are looking for a Field Manager to oversee all of our outdoor kitchen installations. All tools will be provided by the company. Majority of the work will be at our customers homes. On days that you aren’t scheduled to be out in the field, you will assist the production team in the shop with building outdoor kitchens. This is a full-time salary position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or an earlier schedule could be possible. Field Manager General Responsibilities: You will take measurements of a patio space and the grade of the patio surface. (concrete pads, decking, etc.) You will deliver and install the outdoor kitchen cabinet base for each job. (You will have someone helping you during cabinet base install days) You will oversee the countertop installation of each project. The installers will have questions during the installation process. Prior to the countertop install you will meet with the templating technician to answer any measurement questions he might have. Once the countertops are installed you will install the appliances (doors & drawers) and touch up the kitchen such as caulking the edges, touching up the paint etc. Skills/Experience: General construction experience preferred This is the most important, you must be able to easily read and decipher measurements using a tape measure. If you have SketchUp experience that is a plus! Ability to perform physical tasks (i.e. climb ladders, bending, kneeling, twisting etc.) Urgent work style that understands productivity is important to work tasks High attention to detail and willingness to improve and learn new skills Set a good example by being respectful to others and by keeping a clean, neat, and organized work area throughout the day and/or at the end of the day Heavy lifting, carrying building materials, tools, and supplies. Must have a truck, we will cover your gas expenses.
