The 2021-22 school year is well underway, with special needs that must be met. Cedarwood needs an extra pair of hands right now to meet those challenges.
We are currently taking applications for the position of Facilities Assistant. Traditionally, we prioritize hiring alumni from Cedarwood and other area Waldorf schools, but all are welcome to apply.
The basics for applicants:
• Primary skills: Ability to listen & follow instructions, be a cooperative member of a team, and to organize, prioritize, and be logical in approach to work.
• Hours & Compensation: 10 hrs/week during school year (evening or weekend shifts), plus 15-20 hrs/week during seasonal break periods. $18/hr to start.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID (vehicle not required, but a definite plus).
• Must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, or proof of official state-allowed exemption and compliance with weekly COVID testing
• Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 lbs & be comfortable on ladders
• No experience needed, but it’s a plus. Specific training will be provided.
