Janitor - San Fernando Valley We are currently seeking a Janitor for an immediate vacancy. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working as Building Custodian, Building Service Worker, Building Services Technician, Cleaner, Custodial Worker, Custodian, Floor Tech (Floor Technician), Heavy Duty Custodian, Institutional Custodian or Janitor. Pay: $17.00/Hour Location: San Fernando Valley Start Date: ASAP Length: Long-Term, Temp-To-Hire Opportunity Shift: Set Shift – Various positions available with start times between 10a-1pm Responsibilities of the Janitor ● Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, and/or vacuuming. ● Service, clean, disinfect, or supply restrooms. ● Gather and empty trash. ● Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. ● Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. ● Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. ● Ensure all assigned areas are cared for and inspected according to standards. ● Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances. Requirements of the Janitor ● Minimum 18 years of age ● Prior experience working as Building Custodian, Building Service Worker, Building Services Technician, Cleaner, Custodial Worker, Custodian, Floor Tech (Floor Technician), Heavy Duty Custodian, Institutional Custodian or Janitor ● Ability to follow direction ● Pre-assignment drug screen ● Pre-assignment background screen ● Additional screening may apply. ● Must show proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 ● Must be able to provide documentation that proves your right to work in the US – We E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.
