It is "Share the dog" program we came out.
(Currently Giant Schnauzer cost more than $6,000 to adopt)
We have two dogs (male=Alpha and female). We are letting Alpha to be adopted for free with conditions below. We are willing to take back Alpha if things doesn't work out with you.
What is Share the dog?
You adopt our Alpha for free. We still have one sister dog.
When we go out of town, you take care of our dog, Alpha’s sister. When you go out of town or need dog sitting, we will take care of Alpha.
Therefore, we are looking family who lives near Pasadena, Glendale, La Canada, La Crecenta
About Alpha:
Home trained, he can sit/down/wait/inside/eat. We didn't train for many commands but he is very smart.
Potty trained outside. NO pad inside.
Inside and outside dog: when I go out for pick up my kids, he stay outside. When I come back, he comes in with us. We have big yard, so he plays with his sister dog (another Giant Schnauzer) doing their exercises.
He is good with his sister and my sister’s dogs(male and female), maltipoos
We have spent quite a lot of money for two Giant Schnauzer but we faced with problem when we have to go out of town couple times per year. Tried dog-sitter, boarding places but schedule and quality has been issue. Only reason we are seeking a new family is it is hard to find two big dog boarding place. We were thinking this long time and end up of this "Share the dog" idea. We wish to send him to good family who has no dog, so when we are sharing dogs, it will only be Alpha and his sister.
