After years of forest mismanagement, it is finally dawning on the dim wits in Sacramento that forest fires are caused by years of fuel build up. Clearing thick underbrush from under redwood and fir trees, piling and burning or chipping, is the only way to prevent the disasters of Paradise, Middletown, Coffee Park, and other communities that have been burned out, and will be burned out. Now how do you think we are going to prevent fuel build up without chainsaws? And don't tell me ELECTRIC chainsaws. They are toys. 12" to 16" length blades with twenty minutes of battery life. A joke when it comes to doing any serious clearing. So the dummies are making a "global warming statement" that is going to cost us thousands of acres of forests, more towns and lives and add millions of tons of choking smoke to the autumn skies. Good job Sacramento!
