My name is Rachel, I'm 30-years-old, mother of 2 boys (13 years and 6 months). I spent the last 7 years doing CNA work so I have experience as a caregiver. For 2 years, I provided home care for a client with severe autism and a client with cerebral palsy. The last 5 years, I provided elderly care in a skilled nursing setting. I decided recently to quit my job and be a SAHM to my 6-month old. He is very well-behaved and easy to take care of so I decided to offer my time to help provide child care for someone who needs it. I'd prefer to provide care on weekdays, as we usually have weekend plans, but occasional weekends can be open for discussion. I'd be willing to accept any age, but infant care would be preferred since I'm currently working through that stage of parenting anyway and already have the toys/supplies for it. I live in the suburbs in an apartment on a bike path and one block from a park. I do have a cat, in case allergies are a problem, but he is friendly and loves snuggles.
