Rehoming American English Coonhound Clean, healthy and mature (but not ancient) female with super sweet, calm, passive disposition. Flea and tick free. Gets along so beautifully with cats, kittens, dogs, livestock, wildlife (big and small), and people & children of all ages. Does not have a single aggressive bone in her body. Does not jump up on anyone or get under your feet. She is house broken, leash trained. Loves to go along for rides in the vehicle. Eats well, currently slightly overweight. Found running down the middle of Hwy 79 halfway between Byers, TX and the Tx/Ok state line. Assumed dumped since it’s been a month and no one has claimed her despite having notified all the area shelters, posting flyers in surrounding towns, and hundreds of shares on various social media platforms. I'd definitely keep her myself if only I had the space and time needed to properly care for her.
