I’ve found a small black cat, I believe she might be a female but it’s hard to tell with cats. She/he is very small, like a large kitten or maybe she could just be a very small cat or not all the way full grown? I haven’t had time to check if she is microchipped. I found her around 3 AM basically at 112th Avenue and Huron Street in Northglenn just a few blocks away from Westminster.
She was at a gas station and it looked like she was looking for humans/a way in. She ran from my car and since she was so tiny, she doesn’t look full grown and since it was only 27 degrees outside I decided to look for her. I’m glad I did because while running & hiding from my car she got stuck under a metal locker and couldn’t get out on her own. She’s very nice and friendly and seemed really happy to be found. I live nearby and we have seen coyotes in the exact area she was in almost nightly for months so I didn’t want to just leave her outside in the cold.
I’ve been searching for anyone looking for her online and have had no luck. Someone told me to post an ad on Craigslist, figure this is a long shot but fingers crossed! I can’t keep her, my lease only allows us to have two pets. Really hoping to find her owners. I don’t want her to end up in a shelter!!
If you believe this is your cat please send me a message including any distinctive features, if she was wearing a collar or not and if so what color it was. I found her a little over a week ago and I’m running out of time to find her owners!
