NOW HIRING GENERAL GREENHOUSE WORKERS FOR OUR WAREHOUSE/SEEDINGDEPARTMENT! This position is an entry-level, temporary position with opportunities to move into a full-time year-round position based on performance and company needs. Some of the tasks that may be required but aren't limited to: Helping with the loading and unloading of trucks according to voices and routing information per supervisor. Helping move trays, plant seeds into trays on a conveyor belt/seeding line, and move racks on wheels to and from greenhouse locations. General Greenhouse Workers assist different departments in the Greenhouse to ensure the production of the highest quality plants. Essential Functions/Duties Assist with the following departments to assure a quality product is delivered to our customers, maintain area cleanliness, follow instructions, and act in accordance with rules and regulations set by TGE. Loading Crew: Load racks of flowers onto trucks according to invoices and routing. Organize product on docks for truck loading. Movement: Move product in accordance to plans and schedules set by production personnel, and move seeded or planted products into greenhouses. Seeding: Fill and label trays with soil. Put trays onto the conveyor belt. Maintain machines used for seeding. Plant seeds into trays manually to be grown. Take trays off of the conveyor and place them on racks or benches. Processing: Process plugs and finished orders according to paperwork, ship mode, and instructions given by the Collation Supervisor. Maintenance: Assist maintenance team with grounds maintenance, cleaning, rack building/repair, and preventative maintenance procedures. Ranges: Work with plants, moving, planting, pinching, spacing, hanging baskets, putting trays/containers on benches, transplanting plugs, etc. pull and process orders for collation in accordance with TGE procedures.
