Job Description Housekeeping/Janitorial Technician - it does involve cleaning bathrooms & toilets! Summary We are looking for a hard-working Housekeeping/Janitorial Technicians to join our maintenance and commercial cleaning team at our corporate office in Desert Hot Springs! In this role, your main tasks involve office and facility cleaning and maintenance services. In some cases, you assist other team members with dusting surfaces and removing trash. You should have some janitorial or housekeeping experience or be familiar with the safe use of sanitation products and cleaning equipment. Our ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in doing a good and thorough job each and every time. Shifts Currently Available: Pay Rate: $15/hour 3rd shift- 9:00PM - 6AM Duties and Responsibilities * Provide cleaning services for our company vehicles * Various facility janitorial or maintenance duties * Perform additional housekeeping or maintenance tasks as necessary, including dusting ceiling vents, light fixtures, and walls, painting, repairing, cleaning bathrooms * Assist with trash removal * Move or cover furniture for deep cleaning tasks * Perform routine maintenance and repairs * Maintain a safe and clean workspace Requirements and Qualifications * High school diploma or GED certificate * Commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred * Driver’s license and reliable transportation * Physical stamina * Attention to detail * Punctual Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted * Must be able to stand, walk, bend over, and pick up items and in general have constant movement for the duration of shift. * Must be able to lift, push, kneel, and pick up items small and large. * Must be able to use cleaning solutions and properly and safely use brooms, unload trash cans, and using other cleaning supplies and tools. ** MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO QUALIFY ** Must pass a Live-Scan (a fingerprint background check) EEOC Dreamfields is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employe
