So…..my daughter is absolutely heart broken to have to do this but she needs to find a new home for her two 1-year old male rats. We rescued them from the human society last year Christmas time and they have been great pets. Very loving, no biting and very sweet. She unfortunately is allergic to them and ends up on our couch multiple nights a week wheezing. We have held out this long hoping that her body would become acclimated to them as she has to our dogs/cats, but at this point we don’t see any change in her health. We are putting “feelers” out there to see if we can find someone who will love and care for them as she does. They would come with all accessories including their enclosure/extra bedding/food.
