Cat looking for family

Grimlin, age four, looking for his purrr-fect forever home! I took this cat in three years ago when I lived in Corvallis. He showed up at my house starving, untagged, and not fixed. Feeling sorry for him I provided space for him while I searched for his family. Unfortunately no one came for Grimlin. Having health problems and not being fixed I took it upon our family to get him fixed, vaccinated, and healthy again. I have struggled for years to make this relationship work between us. He has behavioral problems that we have tried our best to work with. He loves people so much he wants to cuddle and follow you around everywhere and can be very playful, but he does not like other animals much. He tolerates my one cat and dislikes the other, he despises dogs, and I fear for his behaviour around small children. All of this aside he is an absolute sweet heart! He will sleep with you and really wants to be the only one! Everything was fine until we were forced to move and now he is just not fitting in with our family and situational environment at the time. He has begun to spray in our home repeatedly, which is completely unacceptable. He did not do this before we moved. I care so much for this cat I just want him to go to the best home that suits him well. I think a farmhouse type environment where he could feel like the dominant cat who is closely bonded to a human would be best and access to the outdoors. I know this is a lot to ask in a world with over population and everyone already has their own. But I cannot help but reach out so that I may find something better for my beloved Grimlin.
