Maintenance Mechanic
This position is responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance as assigned in a highly automated food manufacturing environment. Hours are 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday some Saturdays and Overtime
Duties include:
Process & Equipment: install, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs equipment to meet daily shift requirements and achieve safety, quality, value, and cost results.
Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts and equipment.
Diagnoses and repairs mechanical faults in equipment.
Performs equipment installation support functions and change overs on equipment as needed.
Inputs and retrieves maintenance work orders on a scheduled basis.
Follows standard operating processes and procedures
Ideal candidate must have at least 3 years mechanic experience, including welding and motor and gearbox or pump mechanical experience. USDA experience a plus. Knowledge of GMP’s, SOP’s, HACCP.
This position requires physical activity, employees must be able to lift up to 40lbs, pull, push, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, stand for long periods of time, and work in a cold temperature.
