Join the Capital Crossroads and Discovery Special Improvement Districts for the Joint Annual Meeting. This year’s keynote speaker is Commander Smith Weir, Columbus Division of Police. Commander Weir will discuss, “The Transformation of Policing in Columbus: Where are we now and where are we heading?” Last year was a year unlike any other in our community and across the country. With a new Chief of Police in place and a desire for a fresh approach to policing, changes are well underway. Learn about existing and new programs the Columbus Division of Police is employing to allow for greater community impact and engagement. 4 PM Networking and refreshments 4:15 PM Election of Trustees for each SID, followed by the Downtown Awards and the Keynote Address. Participants have the option of attending in person at the Sonesta Hotel, 33 E. Nationwide Blvd., or viewing live on their computers or phones. Parking is available at the Chestnut Street Garage at 44 E. Chestnut St. or the Greater Columbus Convention Center South Garage at 88 E.
