any help in an impossible situation

Moved up here to help my mom who is having a split with her girlfriend and also just had a major surgery, an infection on her clavicle. We're both broke and I don't know anyone up here and she really doesn't either. I don't even know really what I'm asking for a miracle. Any help or advice is appreciated, maybe someone had an in-law cottage or garage we can move into and I'll start fixing up stuff or whatever if u need stuff done around house she can cook and clean whatever.
