The Regional Kwanzaa Celebration honors Faith, Family, Community, and African American cultural history takes place December 26th - Jan 1st During the days after Christmas, most people are sleeping in and recovering from a day filled with family, food, presents and 24 hours of "A Christmas Story." Those who celebrate Kwanzaa, however, are just beginning a celebration. Kwanzaa is a holiday designed to connect African American communities everywhere and is celebrated from Dec. 26th to Jan 1st... The 2021 Regional Kwanzaa Celebration Begins at 12 Noon on Sunday December 26th. The day features workshops, keynote speaker, drumming, dancing, Candle Lighting Ceremony that honors Faith, Family, Community, and African American cultural history along with entertainers and speakers who will address our present circumstances and what is to come-in our personal and communal lives." Hope to see you here on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Boys& Girls Club Family Center / Monday, December 27th at the Rebecca Johnson School on Catherine Street, and then each day at 6pm at the Pahmusa Pan African Historical Museaum in Tower Square.
