Come prepare dinner to later be served at a local teen community center! What We Will Do: Project Helping volunteers will help make dinner for various nonprofits to help feed those in need. Address: 1260 Decatur St Denver, CO 80204 Minimum Age: 14+ Agenda: 3:00-3:10 - Welcome and Check-In 3:10-3:20 - Overview and Instructions 3:20-4:45 - Prepare and make dinner 4:45-5:00 - Clean Up and Thank You What to Bring: A mask Close-toed shoes Where to Park: Location: Sun Valley Kitchen There is street parking on the surrounding streets, or a parking lot located behind Sun Valley Youth Center (accessed via Holden Place on east side of Decatur Street). Where to Meet: Use the main entrance located on the Northeast corner of Decatur St and Holden Place. Check in with your Project Helping Kynd Leader when you arrive. They will be wearing a bright lime green shirt, and will stick with you during the entire experience to make sure you have a blast! About the Organization: Due to Covid-19, many of our nonprofit partners have not been able to accept volunteers. Even so, there is still a great need to make food and serve our community members. The meals that are prepped will go to Urban Peak and Sun Valley Youth!
