Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how Motivational Interviewing principles and techniques can be applied to any client population to decrease resistance and increase positive life changes. Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based counseling approach that has proven effective in helping those on their recovery journey reach their goals. The course uses a blend of instructive information and interactive exercises to help attendees learn and apply core concepts.
