Description

“It was just a colour out of space—a frightful messenger from unformed realms of infinity beyond all Nature as we know it." “...from realms whose mere existence stuns the brain and numbs us with the black extra-cosmic gulfs it throws open before our frenzied eyes.”Groupwork & friends present an evening of colours and sound from out of space for a special RESIDENTS NIGHT... Be on your best behavior, respect the other dancers as well as the space, and leave your hangups at home. We have a no tolerance policy for any acts of abuse, sexism, racism, bigotry, homophobia, or transphobia. Our staff are available to help you with any issues. Also—leave any personal light-up accessories at home and refrain from using cameras and phones so the floor is both welcoming and immersive. • • • COVID-19 PrecautionsThis event will be indoors. Proof of full vaccination will be required for entry. Additionally, we strongly encourage anyone planning on attending to get a COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to entry (this is not a requirement for entry). Negative PCR tests will be rewarded with a FREE drink token. These precautions will help keep all of us safe during and after the event, and safety is our collective responsibility. Some free testing resources include: Using the NYS Testing Locator Free (no insurance required) at any Rite-Aid drive through locationFree (with insurance) at local WNY Wellness Now locations and Quest Diagnostics We know that the vast majority of vaccinated people who have a breakthrough infection will be okay — only 3 in every 100,000 people who have been vaccinated have been hospitalized — but the scale of transmission in vaccinated people remains unclear, and there are still people who cannot be vaccinated — kids under twelve and some immunocompromised people. As we enter this new phase of the pandemic, we want to make sure we're doing what we can to keep those people safe.
