FY23 Perkins grant Worksheet Application and Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment Training Training focuses on the FY23 Perkins application and Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA). Information will be provided to schools on what to review and update in their CLNA, data interpretation and ensuring data-based decisions are driving priorities and funding choices. Relevant areas of the Worksheet application, including budget narratives and supplemental materials, will be covered as well as discussion on Innovative grants and their application process. Lunch will be on your own from 11:30 - 1:00.   Oklahoma's Career and Technology Education System is a comprehensive system focusing on creating high-quality educational experiences for youth, adults and companies delivered through technology centers, comprehensive schools and correctional facility-based Skills Centers. The Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education provides leadership and resources to ensure standards of excellence throughout the statewide system. Annually, enrollments in CareerTech offerings are about 500,000. CareerTech also provides nationally recognized competency-based curriculum, education and training for a myriad of specialized and customized courses and training opportunities. This curriculum is developed with the input of industry professionals, using skills standards to identify the knowledge and abilities needed to master an occupation.
