Carpenter / Handyman / Maintenance / Historic Ben Franklin Block Building to $48,000+ a year We are a medium sized residential and commercial Historic Building located in the Historic District of Portsmouth, NH Our Business Mission is Historic Preservation and Building Maintenance, Customer Service, and construction of fine interior residential, retail, and offices suites within the Historic Ben Franklin Block Buildings. The Candidate is responsible for performing a range of handyman, maintenance, and/or light carpentry services. Candidate should possess a variety of handyman, maintenance,and/or light carpentry skills. For the right candidate we offer: *Full time steady work. Long Term Employment. Part time or Flex time possible. Requirements include: *Appropriate, related experience * Good communication abilities * Professional attitude * Decent customer service skills * A work vehicle * Must be able to work independently. *Help with carpentry in suite build outs * A variety of skills including basic maintenance skills for light repairs of common items; *Light carpentry, drywall repairs or small walls, painting, floor patching, basic cleaning/cleanup and carpet shampooing. Other useful handyman troubleshooting skills in one or more of the following areas would be useful: -Light plumbing, very minor electrical, or simple HVAC on/off/thermostat trouble shooting. * Reasonably Detail oriented *Self motivated *Ability to pass a thorough background check and driving record check Ben Franklin Block Building Management Since 1992. Recipient of multiple Historic Preservation awards. Known for excellent craftsmanship; and support of small business.
