Houston Theological Seminary's Women's Dinner October 21st @ 5 pm The Green Room in Dunham Theater Do you ever feel alone as a woman preparing for ministry? You’re SO not alone! You are invited to join a fellowship of HBU Women who will walk with you during your time here at HBU. Come join us! In the beginning we will focus on FUN AND FELLOWSHIP. Getting to know each other is our first priority. YOU get to be the first members as we begin building our community. These relationships will possibly be with you for life. My name is Lora Doremus. I have been on a church staff for the past twelve years working with women of all adult ages, inside and outside the church. I was recently invited by HBU to help develop a better support system for women preparing for ministry here at HBU. THAT’S YOU! So I quit my church staff job (scary? Yes.) and I am here now to help YOU get some much needed support as you prepare for a life of ministry. Many of you are probably already deeply involved in some form of ministry at a local church. And I bet you have some stories to share. So come share your story!! And hear the stories of your sisters in ministry. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 18th in The Green Room, which is just off the hall leading into the Dunham Theater. Please RSVP by Wednesday, Nov 17th, so we can have a dinner purchased for you! We'll have a variety of salads, chips, muffins, and desserts. We'd love to see you there!
