As a Handyman you will address maintenance issues that arise during tenancy as well as convert recently vacant homes into homes ready for occupancy. The Handyman position reports to the lead Handyman and property managers and requires attention to detail and the ability to follow directions. Responsibilities: Perform basic tasks including, but not limited to: Painting, Minor appliance repair, Minor plumbing leaks, Replacing outlets, doors, light fixtures, faucets. Fix or replace garbage disposals. Light pilot lights. Install blinds. Change locks. Drywall repair. Clean dyer vents. Any other general repairs or maintenance as needed. -Must respond/schedule tenants’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues appropriately balancing cost and time -Safely use tools and equipment Requirements: -Strong mechanical aptitude, and well-rounded hands on mechanical skills -Ability to work well with people, with strong customer service skills -Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability -Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, in all weather conditions -Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems -Must track and manage time and costs of repairs and be a self manager -A current, valid clean Driver’s license and driving record is required, and must be maintained throughout the course of employment -Hight School diploma or equivalent Please email resume and cover letter to apply.
