Veteran Appreciation Sunday - Crossville First United Methodist Church - 100 Braun Street, Crossville, TN 38555 VETERAN APPRECIATION SUNDAY: We will once again honor our veterans on Sunday, November 14th. We will recognize veterans and families attending both services and offer a special prayer for them and all our Missing in Action/Prisoner of War personnel. A brief event will be held in the Family Life Center at 10 a.m. The pastor will offer a prayer and then conduct a symbolic cake cutting. This will be immediately followed by a careful and safe serving of cake and refreshments. Congregation members and guests are encouraged to wear their military uniforms or other appropriate garb that signifies their service membership or is service -related. Patriotic pins will also be made available to veterans and families at the 10:00 a.m. event. Points of contact are Frank and Robin Piacine at (717)991-3984.  See you there! Everyone is invited to also join us for one or both of our worship services at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. All children through 6th Grade are invited to join us for a fun filled morning with Santa.  Parents can take pictures to remember this wonderful time!
