She was one of the two founding leaders of the Knox based Holistic Moms Network- started back in 2006. (What led her to herbal remedies?-After a few years of working in hospital nursing, she started questioning the procedures and pharmaceuticals she was giving patients. Having children started her more seriously down a natural path, where she studied and learned all the many ways God gave us medicines right from the earth.) She's assisted the well respected and popular herbalist, Rosalee De La Forte, as a recipe tester for two major best selling herbal books-The Alchemy of Herbs and Wild Remedies. Heather lives in Knoxville. Our mission is to raise awareness and education and create community in Knoxville around health and healing, outside of the pharmaceutical paradigm.
