Join us as we honor our ancestors by celebrating their lives at Nativo in Highland Park, Los angeles with music, art, an altar and mezcal.
Día de los Muertos is one of Mexico’s traditional holidays reuniting and honoring our beloved ancestors, family, and friends. It is a time when the veil is lifted between the two realms and we share time together. This night is an important and sacred feast, we will be creating an altar to welcome and commemorate los muertitos. Cempazuchitl and copal will be offered in abundance to be a scent guide to meet us at Nativo where tamales, pan de muerto, tequila, and mezcal, will be waiting for both the living and nuestros muertitos. Come celebrate with us as we honor our loved ones with Noelle Reyes of @shopmivida, who will be guiding us through our Sip and Paint night. Face painting will be available on a first come first served basis while we sip on a beautiful flight of mezcal and tequila. Special sounds will be brought to you by a live performance from el trio Tres Souls & Dj Boo from Sonido del Valle. This community based event is in honor of keeping Pre-Columbian tradition alive while celebrating in an eclectic and contemporary view.
