Description
We are willing to train inexperienced technicians with a desire to work.
*Effectively assess damage in homes and commercial buildings due to: water damage, mold and fire.
*Ability to perform biohazardous cleanup of materials in homes and businesses as well as soot cleanup.
*Ability to perform mold remediation, including utilizing PPE and tearing-out existing materials to build/set room containments, as well as properly bagging and disposing of hazardous waste.
*Demo floors (ie- hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet, padding, etc.) and drywall, cabinets, bathroom/plumbing fixtures, kitchen fixtures, water heaters, laundry room appliances.
*Pulling-out insulation and properly bagging for disposal.
*Restoration and reconstruction of flooring, drywall, cabinets, bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
*Apply caulk, sealants and perform painting of installed surfaces.
*Effectively sketch detailed floor plans of homes & businesses.
*Provide accurate measurements of affected areas as well as specific measurements of all demo performed.
*Ability to take accurate moisture readings from industrial equipment as well as utilizing infrared devices to measure moisture in affected areas.
*Computer/data entry skills to utilize restoration software to input data required for mitigation estimates.
*Ability to lift 50lbs.+ (ie- industrial-sized fans & dehumidifiers, as well as moving-out contents of homes/offices, ie- washers/dryers, refrigerators, appliances).
*Efficiently build & maintain professional rapport with clients, homeowners and insurance adjusters.
*Maintain on-time work ethic.Ability to be on-call nights & weekends due to company providing 24/7 emergency services.
