The Best Chance Network is administered by the South Carolina DHEC through grants funds from the CDC. Purpose of the Boot Camp To engage rural health care providers in practical, hands-on training to prepare them to be Best Chance Network Providers. SCORH has joined forces with DHEC's Best Chance Network Program (BCN) to increase the number of providers and women being served in rural communities. Having working knowledge of billing practices for the BCN Program will provide a great foundation to generate revenue for your practice. Who Should Attend? Any rural health clinic, private practice or FQHC staff person who is/or will be responsible for processing claims and other billing documentation for the Best Chance Network Program. This includes but is not limited to practice managers, billers and coders, medical assistants and/or clinicians who may be involved with implementing Best Chance Network Program services. What Should I Expect? Participants will participate in a day of engaging and interactive discussion to learn about BCN billing strategies. Best Chance Network’s Billing Supervisor, Genevieve Gamble, and Debra Cleveland, the BCN billing expert for her office, will present tips for success for new providers. Beth Williams, Best Chance Network’s Senior Data Manager will host a Med-IT 101 training. Participants will practice skills in large and small groups. Lunch and afternoon snack will be served.
