Enchanted Talavera (www.EnchantedTalavera.com) is hiring a full-time seasonal warehouse associate. We are growing! Enchanted Talavera is a family-owned, online retail pottery business operating in Simi Valley since February of this year. We sell ceramic Mexican pottery called Talavera, which is imported from Mexico. We were fortunate to have done very well during the pandemic and are now needing some help to keep up with the increased demands! That’s where you come in. The position is available NOW for: - Two (2) Full Time Seasonal Packaging and Shipping Associates. JOB DETAILS: -Monday through Friday. 9am-5:30pm -$16/hr -Overtime may be available during the holiday season -Fast-paced, and friendly atmosphere DUTIES: -Printing customer’s orders packing slips and shipping labels from online shipping system -Pulling correct item(s) from shelves including correct type, size, color, quantity. -Pulling correct boxes for shipping items to customers -Safely and accurately packaging items for shipping to customers -Emptying pallets of merchandise -Performing accurate inventory counts -Stocking shelves with new merchandise -Creating pallets of merchandise to ship to Amazon and other online marketplaces -Keeping warehouse clean and organized -Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and projects WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: -We are looking for someone with an energetic personality who does not mind working hard in a fast-paced environment -Someone with a positive attitude -Someone who is a good problem solver -Someone who can think on their feet -Someone who is willing to grow with the company and help us achieve our goals REQUIREMENTS: -Must have reliable transportation -Must be willing to be physically active all day -Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more -Must be able to stand for long periods of time -Must be able to climb up and down safety ladders throughout the day -Basic computer skills are required -Past warehouse experience PREFERRED -Proof of vaccination required We need someone for IMMEDIATE hire and will be reviewing resumes/ letters of interest right away.
