Join AADM for the release of a new comic book titled “Let’s Talk About the School to Prison Pipeline” on Saturday, November 10th.
"Let's Talk About the School to Prison Pipeline" is a fully illustrated book which includes information about what the school-to-prison pipeline is, and how students can protect their rights and make a difference, was written by Johnson and illustrated by Eleanor Davis.
Following the comic book's release, a discussion on the school to prison pipeline and restorative justice in schools will be held. Panelists include community leaders Mokah Johnson, Fred Smith and Linda Davis, Clarke Middle restorative justice coordinator Matt Fayoyin, and restorative justice facilitator with the GA Conflict Center Mariah Foote.
