VENICE, FL — A private venue in Venice that is dedicated to supporting Americans' Second Amendment rights to bear arms is inviting families to trick-or-treat with former General Michael Flynn on Halloween. The Hollow 2A will host its Hollow-Ween event Sunday. Gates open at the venue, located at 826 S. Moon Drive, at 1 p.m. Guest speakers take the stage at 3 p.m. and a haunted hike and trick-or-treating starts at 6 p.m. Flynn, a former U.S. Army lieutenant general who briefly served as former President Donald Trump's national security adviser and a new Englewood resident, headlines the event. During the special counsel's investigation of former President Donald Trump's Russian ties, Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI. Trump later pardoned him. According to its Facebook page, the Hollow said that it's "a future campground for kids with a foundation based on the principles of the Constitution with an emphasis on the (Second) Amendment." On its website, the Hollow, which is "mandate free, mask free and censor free," says it's a "place where Americans take gather to lawfully take back our country."
