Police Investigate Separate Armed Robberies In Patchogue Area

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — Detectives are investigating two separate armed robberies that took place in the Patchogue area on Tuesday, Suffolk police said. In the first, robbery a man armed with a gun held up a clerk inside 7-Eleven at about 4:20 a.m., police said. Then at 7:30 p.m., two men armed with guns stole money from Holla Dolla in East Patchogue, according to police. Investigators do not believe either case is related to the other. No arrests have been made in either case. Police are asking anyone with information about either robbery to call Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hotline, at 1-800-220-TIPS.
