In this workshop, you’ll be learning how to make a journal from scratch to finish using a traditional Coptic binding approach. Enjoy an afternoon creating unique journals that can receive your writing, dreams, as well as photos and art. Let’s play together with up cycled and beautiful fabrics and papers! This will be a day full of inspiration, joy and grounding. Our time together will include some time to write in your new journal, letting thoughts flow in a guided free-write period. (Unless you will want to give your new creation as a gift, in which case bring an extra journal for some creative word exploration.) A word about Madeleine Grace, your teacher: “My story is simple. I am an artist. I was never easily satisfied by the generic or minimalist journal options, so I learned how to stitch paper and make my own.” Madeleine brings an inspiring and passionate energy, and joyous creative flow to all she does!
