Description

This event will be an opportunity for networking, unity, and knowledge exchange in the Georgia weightlifting community. The Georgia Olympic Weightlifting Festival will be an event that provides a medium for knowledge exchange among members of the Georgia weightlifting community and anyone interested from our neighboring states. This event will start out by having a light technique session for weightlifters from 9:00am - 11:00am. This is a great opportunity to warm up, meet other coaches and athletes from around the area. At 11:00am we will start our first speakers block. During this time lunch will be provided by the event. We will break from our speakers at 2:30pm for a heavier training session. At 5:30pm we will regather for our final speakers and closing remarks. During which time drinks will be provided for of age participants from a local brewery, and light refreshments. The goal of this event is to build on the excitement and anticipation surrounding the Olympic Games in Tokyo starting in July! We plan to host two of these events this year! Come be a part of this wonderful learning opportunity.
