HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A man was shot to death in the garage of a Huntington Station home late Wednesday night, Suffolk police said. A group of people was in the garage of a Murdock Street home around 11:55 p.m. when a group of people, at least one of whom had a gun, walked up to the driveway, police said. The people in the garage closed the door, and a shot was fired from the driveway, through the door, striking Louis Lombardo, 28, of Dix Hills, police said. Lombardo was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
