THE ROLE The Whisper team is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, fast-pace, and mission-driven company. In this role, you'll handle the shipping, receiving, and physical inventory of Whisper's products. You'll help shape the customer experience by ensuring the right products reach the right places at the right times. This is an hourly full-time role based in San Francisco, that requires you to work from our SOMA headquarters, Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. RESPONSIBILITIES Fulfill sales orders through a combination of configuring, packing, labeling, and shipping Track inventory levels to trigger reorders and keep physical inventory organized Receive and process product returns Receive bulk shipments of product inventory and convert to shippable inventory MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Proficient with spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills Previous experience in a shipping / receiving / inventory / fulfillment role Ability to multitask and act with urgency to resolve issues Ability to problem solve independently and remain calm under pressure BONUS POINTS Experience in dealing directly with Sales teams that place orders Willingness to jump in and help out with unrelated matters Ability to develop processes to make your job more efficient A personal connection to improving hearing health Whisper adheres to all COVID-related guidance from the city of San Francisco regarding occupancy maximum capacity and masking policies.
