HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Due to the forecast, public schools in Harford County will be closed Friday, Oct. 29. School officials made the announcement Thursday night.
The potential for coastal flooding and unsafe travel prompted the decision to close schools, officials advised.
All buildings maintained by Harford County Public Schools will close at noon on Friday.
Staff members who can work virtually should do so, and essential personnel are supposed to wait for further information from their supervisor, according to Harford County Public Schools.
