AUSTIN, TX — Austin police are seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects in an aggravated assault case that took place Oct. 24 in the city's downtown area.
Police say they received a 911 call around 2 a.m. Sunday for a stabbing at Mala Vida nightclub at 708 E. 6th Street.
When officers arrived, they found two people with stab wounds who were taken to a local hospital. Of the two victims, one had life-threatening injuries.

After talking to multiple witnesses at the club, police learned a verbal altercation took place inside before it escalated to a physical confrontation in an alley. At some point during the fight, a knife was taken out and both victims were stabbed.
The two suspects are described to be in their mid-20s to early 30s. One suspect is identified to be a man who stands at 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 inches tall with short black hair, a muscular build, a "chin strap" style beard and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and a black hat with gold embroidery. The man also had the letter "M" tattooed behind his left ear.
The second suspect is identified as a man who stands at 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 inches tall, black curly hair with a heavy-set build. He had the letter "M" tattooed on his chest. He was last seen wearing a black and white-striped polo shirt with glasses.
Detectives are asking anyone with information or video of the incident to utilize the Crime Stoppers tip line at 512-472-8477 (TIPS), or the Crime Stoppers app. People may remain anonymous.
