HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A man from New York City faces criminal trespassing charges, according to the Hackettstown Police Department, after officers say he returned to a property that they had previously asked him to leave.
Brian Hogarth, 43, was reportedly first found on the Hackettstown Senior Housing apartment property on Willow Grove Street, said police department spokesperson Sgt. Darren Tynan, after police were called there on Wednesday afternoon.
After the responding officers told Hogarth he could not be there and he left, Tynan said officers saw Hogarth re-enter the property and head to the back parking lot.
Tynan said Hogarth has an upcoming court appearance to respond to the charges.
