Press release from the City of Wheaton: October 28, 2021 Scott Street will be closed to through traffic from Front Street to Seminary Avenue beginning Monday, Nov. 1. This closure is expected to last approximately 1 week.  Construction crews with the City's contractor, Swallow Construction, will be replacing a sewer main that is near the end of its useful life as part of the City's Sanitary Sewer Capacity Assurance Plan. Short-term detours will be in place during construction with Scott Street opening to traffic after 4 p.m. each day.  This press release was produced by the City of Wheaton.
