Drunk Man Tries To Kick Squad Car Windows During Arrest: Blotter

PLAINFIELD, IL — Here are the arrests reported by Plainfield police from Oct. 16 through Oct. 23. October 16 Brian A. Raymond, 37, of Vintage Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at his home address and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, obstructing justice, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, and driving with a suspended driver's license. Police said Raymond was attempting to gain access to his girlfriend's residence but wasn't allowed inside, so he left on foot. He was admittedly intoxicated, police said. Police returned to the area for extra patrol and found his car was no longer in the driveway and that the garage adjacent to where the car was parked was damaged, they said. When police later found him back in the driveway, sitting in the driver's seat of the car, he was arrested for a DUI. He resisted arrest, and once inside the cop car, began trying to kick the windows, according to police. He was subsequently taken to the Will County Correctional Facility after he was charged. October 20 Joshua Larue Beavers, 22, of the 100 block of Lee Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested at Club1 Volleyball on Coil Plus Drive in Plainfield. He was charged with battery and also had an in-state warrant. October 23 Peter M. Damato, 43, of the 24000 block of John Adams Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at his home address and charged with violation of an order of protection.
