ASBURY PARK, NJ – After a successful festival last month, which saw bands like Pearl Jam, The Avett Brothers, and The Smashing Pumpkins play to packed crowds on the beaches of Asbury Park, organizers of the Sea.Hear.Now festival have announced the dates for next year's festival. In a post on the festival's Facebook page, organizers announced that the festival will be returned to Asbury Park's boardwalk on Sept. 17 and 18, 2022. "#SeaHearNow returns to Asbury Park, September 17 & 18, 2022. 🙌🌊 Get a head start on your planning and gather your 2022 crew. Who would you like to see on next year's lineup? 👀," the post said. The festival has taken place every mid-September since 2018, save for last year, when it was canceled due to COVID. The festival not only brings bands to play on the beach and boardwalk of Asbury Park but also offers art exhibitions and surfing sessions, all to educate people about ocean sustainability. Past performers at the festival include Bad Religion, The Lumineers, Frank Turner, Ben Harper, and Jack Johnson. For more information about the festival, including future lineup announcements, you can check out the festival's website.
