Entry Level purchasing agent. Effective communication is a must between management, customers, engineering, suppliers and ext. Semi-fast paced work environment and must be adaptable to changing situations and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Issue purchase orders and make sure they are arriving in time.Ensure product availability & help manage inventory levels.Communicate future needs with suppliers to ensure product availability at lowest cost.Keeping track of orders to ensure jobs are meeting due dates.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Skills:
Previous purchasing experience is helpful, but not requiredEagerness to learnData gathering & organizationGood time management skills & be able to meet deadlinesExcellent Communication skillsWork well with a team and independently.Must have excellent computer skills, such as Word, Excel, navigating through emails & websites.
